A gay re-telling of Charles Dickens' classic Oliver Twist. Updated to current times, moved out of the poor house and onto the streets, the tale is told from the point of Dickens' character, Artful Dodger--now Dodge. The prosaically beautiful Oliver falls into the hands of down-and-out young men. Dodge takes the young man under his wing and instructs him in the unforgiving arts of drug abuse and prostitution. As Oliver's innocence dissolves, both young men confront inner and outer demons and, strangely, it is Dodge who finds he cannot escape his past. -IMDB

导演的处女作。YouTube上看的无字版本，听着实在费劲，半数剧情靠猜也挡不住这股子难受劲儿。IMDb有一篇对拍摄技术与基调铺陈的分析能解释为什么听着费劲等问题，值得一看。

BGM好评，然而我居然哪里都搜不到，奇怪了。结尾非常加分。/半个月过后打算加一星，值得回味。

半夜发疯选了一部惨绝人寰的《多伦多街童》，改编自狄更斯的《雾都孤儿》，故事线处理得相当含蓄，但是悲剧性强烈，男主卷进的是情感的骗局，年轻而漂泊的命运，成为了绝望的重复。这改编真的是赤裸残忍啊，看得我欲哭无泪，]这么悲剧变态的情节处理，到底是怎么想出来的，给导演硬币。

最后看见TD CANADA TRUST的标志

这个改编得太季魃黑了 刚看完oliver!的我一直处在接受不能的状态……虽然有好多没逻辑的展开但是总体够憋屈 加分！
