Life has not been easy for 12-year-old Slindile and her friends at the Agape Orphanage in South Africa, but their young voices ring loud and clear. As they come to terms with a series of painful setbacks, including the loss of loved ones to AIDS, their spirit stays strong and they sing their way along a journey they could only dream of. Filmed over three years, WE ARE TOGETHER (Thina Simunye) is a story about sorrow, joy and the strength of the human spirit.
