雪茫攻防战

Based on an acclaimed 1935 novel about the War of Liberation (1918-1920) that ensured Estonia's independence, the film tells about a group of young schoolboys heading to the front to fight the army of Soviet Russia.


　　Two brothers choose the opposite sides in a civil war of a small country. November 1918 the army of Soviet Union conquers Narva´s and Petser´s cities in spite of their peaceful announcements. Government of Estonia declares general mobilization. Ahas, son from a poor family, in his inner struggles, joins the troop of his classmates and heads for the front. Through battles and adventures Ahas and his companions grow up, but destiny has some bitter surprises to offer.

爱沙尼亚的电影是第一次看也许是唯一一次，为这部电影翻译字幕的也可能是稀有人才吧，那种语言听起来像是说绕口令，很有节奏感。这部电影最大的困惑是不了解那一段历史，没有搞清剧中人是为谁而战。到底是为了苏联还是为自己的国家，也许那个时候爱沙尼亚还是苏联的一部分吧，根本不存在自己的国家。

多一星給愛沙尼亞，他們選擇了自己的死亡，儘管將近20年後，這場仗後人還會再打上好幾回。
