In late November 2001, the CBS television network aired a two-hour special in honor of Michael Jackson's thirtieth year as a solo entertainer.The show was edited from footage of two separate concerts Michael had orchestrated in New York City's Madison Square Garden on September 7 and September 10 of 2001. The shows sold out in five hours. Ticket prices were pop's most expensive ever; the best seats cost $5,000 and included a dinner with Michael Jackson and a signed poster. Jackson reportedly earned $7.5 million for each of the two concerts, which is over $150,000 per minute. The show ranked first in black viewers over the decade ending 2008.

这个世界上不是人人都叫迈克尔杰克逊，自然也不是人人都当得起这样一场演唱会。来的人都是这个圈子里最厉害的一群人，可是他们全部加在一起都不及他一个人的风采。MJ，我爱你。

MJ的三十周年演唱会可以看到是一次"小规模"的豪华演唱会！现场众星云集自不必说，把MJ的传世经典唱出了别样风味。而MJ 虽然精神状态欠佳，但是依旧光芒万丈。人到中年的他，台风更加沉稳老练，气质上越发看出他的沉淀与内涵，这些也被带进了表演里。重点是MJ的个人秀部分，JACKSONS的重聚让人眼前一亮，其余的个人秀也是打破了以往程式化的服装与表演这一点在《避开》《比例金》中格外明显，唯一美中不足的就是个人秀时间太短了，当时为了缩短时间删除了《战栗》，甚是可惜。另外作为宣传《无敌》专辑的一个部分，新歌是不是有点太少了呢？

长大一些再看Michael演唱会依然热情不减，极个人化，个性化的经典的表演，然而，兼容着普世的爱与美，即使隔着所谓夺去“灵光”的屏幕，依旧足以拨动心弦。如精心装潢的洗礼仪式，所有人都卸下伪装，沉溺于Michael的“宗教”里

高一（2009年）去网吧刷夜搜“Billie Jean”无意中搜到的，我想这个版本我没看过打开看看，结果一发不可收拾，太好看了，然后过段时间从支持可下载的网吧下载了这个视频，到现在（2018年）9年多了，这个演唱会视频我每隔一段时间翻出来看看，这么多年用手机、PC，等设备看了不下上百遍。很羡慕那些在场的观众。这是一场视听盛宴。这个视频，到今天我愣是没看够，以后也不会看够。我甚至视其为宝贵财富。Michael Jackson，I Love You Forever

难忘MJ出场时白衣飘飘的少年样。虽然药物作用在台下精神不太好，但一上舞台 他就是那个掌控全场的王！这场的Billie Jean非常完美！还有来助唱的Billy Gilman唱他小时候的I’ll be there也非常棒。
